Meta: It’s Your World
Project Overview:
Meta's "It’s Your World" campaign illustrated how diverse creators utilize Meta's apps to showcase their unique artistic visions. The initiative celebrated personal creativity, leveraging innovative digital storytelling techniques.
My Role:
As one of nine artists chosen, I worked closely with Creative X, Meta’s internal creative agency, to authentically depict my distinctive sculptural and claymation work. Our collaborative sessions, which included detailed explorations of how I engage with Meta’s digital platforms, significantly influenced the script and portrayal of my creative practice.
Creative Process and Collaboration:
The Creative X team documented my studio processes, while Hornet, the campaign's production partner, took charge of 3D modeling and animating my sculptures based on precise scans. This collaboration extended to filming interactions between me and my animated characters, blending real and digital artworks seamlessly.
Outcome and Impact:
The ad brought my original characters to life in digital form, successfully broadening their reach. Complementary social assets, such as GIFs featuring my characters and me, further boosted engagement and interaction with a global audience.
